Netishop Announces New Shopping Engine Capabilities -- a Shopping Engine with a Wide Selection, it has Made Major Advances in its Services

Online comparison shopping website, NetiShop, established by Liccy Fuentes, recently implemented a series of features to its search functions, which gives site visitors more charge over the way of searching for products in a user-friendly design. These upgrades were made by their small but skilled team of programmers to make your browsing experience enjoyable and simple.

The selection of products represented on the Netishop website make it easy to jump from one search to another. If you are searching for a heavy duty air compressor for a roofing job, then suddenly, you realize you need to buy new boots, you can just click the appropriate category and voila! You can purchase the boots you need and return to the air compressors for final review and purchase.

Other great features of the website are its abilities to filter your results by price, brand, and store, as well as being able to sort by different factors like relevancy, shopping price range, and highest rated and most popular product. When you search for a product of any type, Netishop sends out signals all over the web to find the perfect prices and values on that product and presents them to you side by side on the website so that you can select which product is the right one for you. Top brands from around the world are included in the search results so you see the best offerings in that product line.

Onlineshoes.com Knows a Good Fit When They See It

Onlineshoes.com (http://www.onlineshoes.com/) is excited to announce two major moves, both of which signify confidence in the marketplace and ready the company for future growth.

Since September 2005, corporate headquarters has occupied the seventh floor of downtown Seattle's Metropolitan Park East Tower (1730 Minor Avenue). To kick off the third quarter of 2010 in grand fashion, Onlineshoes.com took out an additional lease to expand to the building's entire second floor. Simultaneously, the company shifted its warehouse operations from Mukilteo, Washington to the Columbus women's coats , Ohio distribution center of the highly respected Network Global Logistics (NGL), based in Broomfield, Colorado.

The Customer Service and Photography departments previously sited in Mukilteo have relocated to Minor Avenue. Onlineshoes.com now occupies nearly 37,000 square feet of prime real estate in downtown Seattle.

Since being established as the first company to sell shoes on the internet in 1996, Onlineshoes.com has enjoyed a history of steady growth, weathering economic challenges that have shuttered many businesses.

Still a privately held company, Onlineshoes.com saw its inception in a 10' x 10' room at the back of the North Seattle shoe store opened in 1968 by company founder Daniel Gerler's father. Initially, five brands of footwear were represented, including New Balance and Saucony, which remain popular sellers on the site to this day. Over 250 brands of shoes, clothing and accessories are featured at Onlineshoes.com, and 10 additional brands will be launched before the end of the year.

Onlineshoes.com prides itself on being focused on customer satisfaction, for which it consistently receives the highest marks: It was recently named a winner in the 11th annual Bizrate Circle of Excellence Awards, an honor recognizing a select group of online retailers that provide outstanding customer experiences as rated by their own customers.

In March 2010, online customer service experts STELLAService released the results of the independent survey assessing the value consumers place on excellent customer service. Examined were the largest 150 e-commerce sites and Onlineshoes.com ranked 13th, along with such heavy-hitters as Amazon.com, Netflix.com, Apple.com and Crutchfield.com, all highly regarded for their customer service.

"Seattle is home to us, but our customers live all over the country. By moving warehouse operations to Ohio, we're providing the highest population concentration with significantly faster delivery," says Gerler. "What's more, it's been a terrific boost to our own sense of community to have the entire Onlineshoes.com family, now more than 170 employees strong, under the same roof for the first time in the company's history."

The additional space was logistically designed to accommodate the company's near-term growth. Continues Gerler, "We're a successful internet company in one of the most vibrant high-tech sectors in the country. Firmly planted as we are in downtown Seattle, Onlineshoes.com looks forward to further capitalizing on the area's pool of talent and providing many local jobs in the future."

About Onlineshoes.com: Established in 1996, Onlineshoes.com is the nation's first online shoe retailer. With a history that began decades ago in a family-owned corner shoe store, the company is committed to delivering exceptional value and service. Onlineshoes.com offers the latest high-quality footwear for men, women and kids with more than 240,000 shoe and clothing choices from more than 250 name brands, as well as a wide selection of bags and accessories. Customers are entitled to a 110-percent price guarantee, a 365-day return policy, and free shipping and exchanges on most orders. For more information, visit http://www.onlineshoes.com.

Icebreaker Picks Adgregate Markets to Sell Eco-Friendly Merino Wool Apparel to its Flock on Facebook

Today Adgregate Markets, the leader in secure social commerce solutions, announced that Icebreaker, the New Zealand company that pioneered the merino wool adventure apparel category, has selected Adgregate Markets' ShopFans? application to enable secure shopping through its Facebook page. Icebreaker selected ShopFans to create a custom ShopFans Facebook "store" which will showcase Icebreaker's eco-friendly product categories and enable customers to initiate purchases within the social network, without compromising security and privacy. The company is the first adventure apparel retailer to open a Facebook store.

Launched in 1994, Icebreaker sustainable merino apparel is revolutionizing the athletic and outdoor industries, which has been dominated by synthetic clothing made from oil for many years. Icebreaker natural merino is grown in New Zealand's Southern Alps high country. Merino is nature's finest performance fiber, lightweight with great temperature regulation; it offers breathability and, unlike synthetics, no stink. Icebreaker offers a unique layering system, including underwear, mid layer garments and outerwear. There are outdoor, technical and lifestyle categories, each with its own specific fabrics and design details. The company recently unveiled its first Run and Bike merino apparel lines, as well as Icebreaker Realfleece, a premium natural alternative to a synthetic fleece for men and women.

ShopFans allows retailers like Icebreaker to create stores inside Facebook and harness the relationships that naturally occur within the context of social media. Retailers can use ShopFans to reward loyal customers and keep them engaged by giving Facebook-exclusive offers or pre-order deals. Fans can share product information with their friends and get feedback from them. The store can be customized to match the look and feel of the brand or traditional e-commerce website. Retailers can track the entire shopping experience, from purchase intent to purchase conversions, for all of its fans.

"We are proud to collaborate with a company so inspired by nature, and dedicated to its customers and sustainable business practices," said Henry Wong, CEO of Adgregate Markets. "Icebreaker's customers are already engaging with the company and their peers about their amazing products on Facebook. We're excited to turn those passionate conversations into conversions for Icebreaker."

ShopFans is the preferred Facebook social commerce solution for more Top 500 Internet Retailer clients than any other solution provider. Unlike existing social commerce solutions offered in Facebook, ShopFans has won the public endorsements from both security and privacy heavyweights, McAfee, VeriSign and TRUSTe, to protect brands' reputations and pave the way for consumers to buy confidently within Facebook.

As a special ShopFans launch promotion, Icebreaker will run a sweepstakes for a $500 gift card redeemable through their new women's jackets Facebook store.

About Icebreaker
Launched in 1994, Icebreaker was the first company in the world to develop a merino fibre layering system for the outdoors. It was also the first outdoor apparel company in the world to source merino directly from growers, a system it began in 1997. The Icebreaker apparel system includes underwear, mid layer garments, outerwear, socks and accessories. There are outdoor, technical and lifestyle categories, each with its own specific fabrics and design details. Icebreaker is sold in more than 3,000 stores in 37 countries.

Based in Wellington, New Zealand, Icebreaker uses only pure merino handpicked from 140 high country stations in the country's Southern Alps to create adventure clothing for women, men and kids that combines nature's work with human technology and design. The company is committed to sustainability, ethical manufacturing and animal welfare. In 2008 the company launched "Icebreaker Baacode," a pioneering supply chain transparency and traceability program. Each Icebreaker includes a unique Baacode, which enables customers to trace the garment online from rearing the sheep through to each stage of the supply chain process. ShopRDR.com Favorite Escada Considering Purchase Of St. John Knits

Rodeo Drive Resale, premier reseller of 100% authentic discount St. John Knits, Escada, Louis Vuitton handbags and other designer fashions, explores the possible merger between fashion favorite St. John Knits and Escada — the German luxury label that had owned it nearly 20 years ago.

According to a story published by the New York Post on October 5, 2012, Megha Mittal —daughter-in-law of Indian billionaire Lakshmi Mittal, who rescued Escada from bankruptcy in 2009 — flew to California to meet with execs at Irvine, Calif.-based St. John.

"It's an iconic brand that has a ton of untapped potential," remarked one financial source.
St. John, notable for its power suits, has seen several changes in staff, and clothing style over the past several years. As it struggles to find relevance in a slightly younger demographic, its newer clothing designs have been met with mixed reviews by brand loyalists.

On October 10, 2012, the popular high-end fashion label launched a national campaign to promote its Gold Standard Collection, which offers a modern take on a few classic pieces. Throughout the month of October, boutiques in San Francisco, Houston, Las Vegas and Maui will be showcasing the limited edition pieces as part of an event dubbed the "American Icon Celebration."

"We're a brand on the move," St. John Knits chief executive officer Glenn McMahon told WWD during a 2011 interview. According to McMahon, a younger St. John is not after the buyers in the 20s, but those a decade or two younger than their current clients. "We really believe that our future success will be in our ability to capture the daughters of our current customer."

The delicate balancing act of retaining St. John loyalists while grabbing the attention of a new generation of shoppers remains important, as Raya was careful to note that RDR will still dedicate an impressive portion of their online St. John collection toward lovers of the original St. John Knit, offering huge discounts on pre-owned items which include blouses, jackets, skirts and more.

Although the future of St. John Knits is uncertain, earlier this year shopRDR.com co-founder Raya Jaffer reminded customers that shoRDR.com is the world's largest reseller of St. John Knits, and offers amazing deals on several of the brand's most beloved lines.

"Women who fell in love with the original St. John can still find past coveted collections at shopRDR.com. On our site, you will also find a well edited selection of newer styles up to 75% off retail," Raya Jaffer, co-founder of shopRDR.com said earlier this year.

Rodeo Drive Resale (shopRDR.com) has built a reputation of providing amazing deals on handbags, clothing and accessories from the top designers of upscale fashion. The company offers a 100% guarantee of authenticity on each item sold, and works daily with a network of clients looking to buy, sell, or for consignment of their luxury goods.

Labiaplasty May Be Covered by Insurance, Notes Chicago-area Plastic Surgeon Allan Parungao, MD

New statistics from the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery reveal a 100.7% increase in the number of vaginal rejuvenation procedures performed on American women from 2008 to 2009. One of the most popular of these procedures is labiaplasty.

"For women who suffer from large or uneven labia minora--a condition known as labial hypertrophy--labiaplasty can give the inner vaginal lips a more trim, youthful look," says board-certified plastic surgeon Allan Parungao, MD, FACS.

"Labiaplasty reduces and/or balances the size of the inner lips of the vulva, or external female genitals," explains Dr. Parungao, author of A Woman's Guide to Cosmetic Breast Surgery and Body Contouring. "After labiaplasty, the labia minora no longer protrude outside the outer vaginal lips.

"Like any plastic surgery, labiaplasty may be covered by health insurance when it is deemed medically necessary--not simply cosmetic surgery," says Dr. Parungao. "Of course, whether a patient's labiaplasty procedure is covered by insurance also depends on the terms of her policy.

"Labial hypertrophy is considered a medical problem when it causes recurrent infections and irritation," he explains. In cases like this, Dr. Parungao's office writes letters and submits documentation to the patient's insurer--and often gets the procedure approved for coverage.

This was the case with "Jennifer," a 30-year-old newlywed from New Jersey who recently traveled to Chicago for labiaplasty. Like thousands of women with large or uneven labia, Jennifer had been silently enduring:

  • Painful sex and embarrassment in intimate relationships
  • Persistent moisture, chafing, irritation and recurrent infections
  • Embarrassment and discomfort when wearing a bathing suit or tight-fitting jeans

"When I hit my early 20s, I was having a lot of medical conditions such as recurring yeast infections," Jennifer recalls. "I went to see loads of doctors and no one really had an answer for me.

"I'd always been uncomfortable in my clothing--irritated constantly," she adds. "I couldn't even wear certain underwear. But when it started taking a toll on my marriage, I said, 'Let me see if other women are doing something to take care of this.'"

"Some women first find out about labiaplasty when they stumble upon it on the Internet," notes Dr. Parungao--and this was true with Jennifer.

"I started looking things up online to see if there was a procedure and I found the medical term for it," Jennifer recalls. "All the reasons women were giving for labiaplasty were my reasons.

"I sent Dr. P a heartfelt letter explaining everything I was going through," she says. "I was having sexual trouble at home--I wouldn't even let my husband touch me. I would freak out if he walked in on me when I was in the shower.

"Dr. P wrote back right away and said, 'Send me a couple of pictures and I'll review them,'" Jennifer recalls.

"I never felt comfortable talking to anybody about this problem--not even my mom--until recently, when I told her I was trying to go for labiaplasty," Jennifer admits. "When she took the pictures for me, she said, 'I understand Tips: Find Street Fashion Online(may be you can find what you want on the oasap.com) . You must be really uncomfortable.' And I was--physically and emotionally.

"After I sent Dr. Parungao my pictures, he said I had a very strong case," Jennifer recalls. "He submitted the paperwork to my insurance company. It took a lot of going back and forth, but they did cover it."

Jennifer and her husband traveled from New Jersey to Chicago on a Monday. She had a consultation on Tuesday, surgery on Wednesday, a follow-up visit on Thursday--and went home to New Jersey later that day.

"Now I'm so comfortable in my jeans!" says Jennifer. "Things feel so much better--and it looks cute now," she adds. "It feels like what it always should have felt like."

Marianne Badar Ohman, of Creative Connections, trained in communications and shared with the group that she was a foreign exchange student in Venezuela, so she can identify with Faith's organization.

Guests in attendance included Ade Shosanya, who works at a Maple Grove hospital. She wanted to attend a few meetings to better understand the benefits before joining.

Shannon McGinnis is an author, consultant, and speaker with Organized4Success. She is interested in networking with other women and is considering joining this chapter.

Kelly Robinson is a Senior Clinical Trainer with Medtronic. She just moved here from Atlanta and wanted to find out what NAPW had to offer her.

The chapter hosted a speaker from the BBBS staff. Luke discussed the need for "bigs" especially males. The program is vital to mentoring children and is not based on economic or ethnic needs. He educated the women on some highlights of the program, like the fact that children who have a positive mentor are more confident in their schoolwork performance, able to get along better with their families, are 46 percent less likely to begin using illegal drugs, are 27 percent less likely to begin using alcohol, and are 52 percent less likely to skip school. The organization has several programs in addition to the "bigs" and "littles" such as mentoring children of incarcerated parents and providing scholarships to the "littles".

The chapter also discussed current business. Sabra Brown described the networking and continuing education opportunities NAPW offers and passed out a list of seminars offered by Star 12 in the upcoming months in the Twin Cities area. She also discussed the various member benefits of being a part of NAPW.

Sabra advised the group that the chapter's events are now listed on EventBrite.com to better track RSVPs and attendance. She advised members to please use this site to sign up for meetings. The December meeting's door prize winner was Terri Rea.

Sabra also discussed the success of the last month's charitable efforts. She said, "We collected more than 150 clothing and accessory items for Dress for Success Twin Cities!"
The chapter intends to collect clothing for Dress For Success at the next meeting. Members were advised to bring gently used, clean business attire and assessories to donate. They will also collect DVDs to send to deployed military personnel in Southwest Asia.

Members decided that they wanted to keep meeting day and time consistent each month. A vote was taken among members in attendance and it was agreed that all future monthly meetings will be the third Tuesday of each month at 4:30pm for ninety minutes. "Locations will still vary throughout the Twin Cities area to best accommodate as many members as possible," Sabra said.

Members also like the idea of "Simply Networking" events held quarterly. The next Simply Networking event will be at the Liffey in St. Paul on March 20th from 5-7pm. The next monthly networking meeting will be held at the office of Kris Pearson at Keller Williams Realty in Minneapolis on February 9th at 4pm.

Each month, a Minneapolis Chapter Member wins the Traveling Vase with a goodie included from the previous winner. That winner is then responsible for bringing it in to the next month's meeting. Kris Pearson, the winner of the Traveling Vase (TV) in November, brought the TV to the meeting filled with chocolates to give away to this months winner, Kelly Robinson.

Sabra Brown thanked everyone for attending and encouraged women to bring a friend to the next meeting.

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) is the largest and most recognized network of female professionals. NAPW provides a forum where women can interact, exchange ideas, educate, network, and empower. NAPW Local Chapters allow members to maximize their experience through meetings, networking opportunities, and professional events.

The Story Behind the Unique Swim Suits of Farfalla-Blu

Anniversary Sale offers an incredible discount of swimsuits up to 75 % off tag price! Take advantage of this irresistible, one-of-a-kind offer. Think bikinis, one piece swimwear, monokini in this flower month of May. Become a beach butterfly with farfalla-blu.com.

Farfalla-blu offers one-of-a-kind swimsuits. Each one of these original fashion designs from Colombia is dressed up at Farfalla-blu with attractive, hand-embroidered ornaments. You can't find these gems anywhere but at Farfalla-blu.

"The idea for Farfalla-blu came about two years ago," owner Inge McKeever recalled. Inge, an experienced clothing designer, has managed fashion production, worked as a bridal designer, and nonstop generates ideas for novelty items.

Two years ago, Inge and her sister, co-owner Peggy Strauss, went on a business fact-finding trip to Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, and Brazil. Their mission was called "42 D". They were looking for fashionable, high-quality, large-size bras.

"The reality is, nice bras in larger sizes are hard to find," Inge said. "Stores like Victoria's Secret sell sexy bras but only for skinny women." Attractive, plus-sized bras was definitely a market gap. But even on that far trip, a manufacturer could not be found.

"However, lucky us, we did find an exquisite collection of bikinis, one piece suits, monokinis and more from a swimsuit vendor," Inge recalls. So the business plan was readjusted. The swimsuits were compelling. "What if we jazz these up and personalize them", was the next question.

And, suddenly, Farfalla-Blu, popped out of the cocoon. "Farfalla" means butterfly. That was the right name for the easy, breezy, colorful, one-of-a-kind swimwear collection. Durable Japanese beads added the extra sparkle.

Add to that a selection of sassy bra straps. The jewelry bra straps fit right in with the swimsui fashion coats online t concept. These crystal-studded gems come from a high-quality supplier in China also used by major US department stores.

Farfalla-blu definitely thrives off a Latina-inspired temperament. The playful designs are color happy and feminine-empowered. Needless to say, Farfalla's owners were raised in Ecuador and Colombia.

"Farfalla-blu swim suits are sexy but not vulgar," Inge describes Farfalla's concept. "We just like to have fun with fashions and, hopefully, share this happy mood with our clients."
